calendar wouldn't extend past current year? Do I need to buy a new version?

Q. I get the message "Unable to open private book" after installing the program
on new computer. [Answer]
Q. How do I locate my version number and serial number? Use the
Help/Copyright command from any module.
Q. How do I locate my product key? Run the Install program, and follow
several prompts until your product key is displayed. At this point you can
cancel further actions.
Q. Is DeskTop Set 6.5 compatible with Microsoft Vista. Yes, it is, except
advanced telephony, because Vista no longer supports 16 bit TAPI and
UNIMODEM drivers.
Q. How do I move DeskTop Set to another computer?
Step 1. Record your product key and serial number on old computer.
Step 2. Install DeskTop Set on new computer with these numbers, and make sure
everything works.
Step 3. Copy all files from x:\dts\data subdirectory on your old computer
to the same location on your new computer.
Q. I moved DeskTop Set to another computer, and my product key no longer works.
What should I do? [Answer]
Version check To check the version number installed on your computer, please select the Help/Copyright... command from any DeskTop Set menu.
The most recent version is
6.5.5. To update your installation, download the most recent release, and follow installation instructions.
When the Install program detects earlier versions, it preserves all of your information, and just installs the most recent executable files. Still, just in case, please backup your existing program and data before
installing updated version. |
